Today was National Service Day. We picked up trash on the playground and near the stream. We decorated a blanket for soldiers that are wounded. We finished letters and made cards for soldiers in Afghanistan some of whom are giving vaccinations. We read books to our younger buddies.
We had playground skits. Middle schoolers help teach us all the rules using small skits with lots of ketchup (blood). We had a spelling and a things you like and are good at assessment. We shared our childhood items. Betsy has wonderful pictures on her blog of the event - www.betzbuzz.blogspot.com
Have a wonderful and restful weekend.
Note from Kim: I look forward to seeing you all on Monday!)
