Our first day back after the four day weekend went very well. We have a new calendar with lots more information. It includes homophones, Spanish words, and some writing vocabulary, as well as a brain teaser. "Words That Should Always Be Correct" need to be written correctly in all our writing (homework and in class).

We had buddies with Ruth Ann and Beth. With Ruth Ann we made Valentine's cards that middle schoolers will take to local nursing homes. In Beth's class we sorted and created math problems with hearts. We also had computers and art.

All our work from second quarter was sent home today.
