79th Day

What a great week! We will soon be leaving for the Local Hero Award Ceremony at Hollins. Please remember we do not have school Monday in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. In Kim’s math we worked on angles. We have been looking at 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, and 360 degree angles. In Betsy’s math class we made shapes with pentominoes and looked at corners. In Science, we learned about our taste buds and tongue including sweet and bitter. In Social Studies, we made Virginemon cards about some of the presidents from Virginia.
