70th Day

It is wonderful to be back! In Betsy's math we worked on KenKen puzzles, math sudoku, DynaMath and Around the World. In Science, we finished small group activities. You have a paper clip and you bend it one, three, five and ten centimeters apart and you touch the other person with the paper clip and they have to guess how many centimeters it is. You touch the other person in different places to find out where the most nerve endings are. In Kim's math, we talked about rounding and finished activities in our folder. We learned a rounding song. In Social Studies, we made Virginemon cards about the Revolutionary War and we listened to a reading of the Declaration of Independence. We also heard another historic rap. During Literacy, we worked on labeling the countries of South America and we did two spelling activities to fill up our passports to go through each country in South America. You come up with words that remind of your word. Some of us made codes to help study the words. Next we have music.
