Second Day of School

Students' names are no longer listed as the author of each blog, because every student adds a little information about the day. When we arrived we worked on our folders and talked about what we would do first thing in the morning. We got together with Betsy’s class and we silently got in order by our birthday. We discussed our class name, which is a secret. We still have two to choose from. Please don’t ask what it is. We had buddy time with Beth’s class. We started by getting a puzzle piece with our name on it and matching it up with a little kids’ name. They will be our buddy for awhile. We got to learn stuff about our buddy and then we went outside and we played with our buddy and did a lot of fun things, like tag and other games. We do buddies to get together with different ages and meet new people and learn about each other and to do a lot of fun things. Then we had a math assessment at our tables. We also read a story to Kim and some words. In Art, we will work on our self portraits.
