Ninth Day

This morning we were very disappointed that Class Name Skits were canceled. We will perform Monday at 9:30. We hope you can join us. In Betsy's math class we worked on centimeters and inches as we measured our fish and alligator again. We also worked on symmetrical pictures. In Kim's math we did a team building activity with legos. We learned about more and less and greater than and less than. We worked with someone else to learn geometry and other math words by looking at things around the room. In Science we learned about cells in the human body like blood, brain and skin cells, and we wrote down parts of the human body that we already know. In Social Studies we examined our artifacts from home. We talked about what that means about us. We had buddies with Beth. We did puzzles, read books and played games with our buddies. Now, we have free choice reading.
